Employees of Securities Board of Nepal go on strike again

Kathmandu. Employees of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) have resumed their agitation.

KATHMANDU — The agitation that was halted due to the election code of conduct in the House of Representatives has resumed from Thursday.

According to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) employees union, a sit-in and pawn has started for 1 hour every day from Thursday.

“The 2082-11-27 working committee of the Securities Board of Nepal Employees Union (SEBON) has decided to continue the sit-in and pendown program for one hour every day from 10:00 am to 11:00 am from 2082-11-27 in a strong manner after the suspension of one hour sit-in and pendown program every day due to the code of conduct implemented for the election of the House of Representatives,” reads the press release.
