Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Friday, the last trading day of the week. On Friday, the NEPSE index decreased by 11.37 points to close at 2,755.41 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 1.77 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.71 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.62 points.

Although the stock market has decreased today, the amount of transactions has increased compared to Thursday. Shares worth Rs 4.70 billion were traded in the market on Thursday, while shares worth Rs 5.62 billion were traded.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of four sub-groups have increased while the indices of other seven sub-groups have fallen. The finance sub-group index increased by 2.77 percent on the day.

Shares of Kalinchowk Hydropower Ltd were traded at positive circuit level today. Similarly, the share price of Upkar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has increased by more than 9.5 percent today.

Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Ltd topped the list on the basis of turnover on the day. The company’s shares worth Rs 55.69 crore were traded today.
