KATHMANDU: The third annual general meeting of Global IME Securities Limited, which is operated by Global IME Bank, has been concluded. The AGM held on September 19 at Hotel Crystal Pashupati, Gaushala has approved a proposal to distribute cash dividend at the rate of 3.8 percent of the paid-up capital.
The MELA was chaired by Chairman of Global IME Bank, Mr. Tek Nath Pokharel and other distinguished dignitaries including Global IME Bank.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Pokharel said that the current year has been challenging for the company in terms of dividend distribution. On behalf of the Board of Directors, he expressed gratitude to the sole shareholder Global IME Bank for helping to continue the operation of the company despite the difficult situation.
He appreciated the contribution of the regulatory bodies, business partners and employees and expressed confidence that political stability would return in the coming days. He also expressed his commitment to work in the interest of all stakeholders by providing more quality services to the company.
Directors Bikash Raj Pandey and Bijaya Karki, CEO Prabina Pandey and representative of Global IME Bank Tikaram Pandey expressed their views during the AGM.
The AGM unanimously endorsed the proposal related to the appointment of auditor, distribution of cash dividend of 3.8 percent of the paid-up capital and amendment of the Memorandum of Association (AGM).
