Kathmandu. 4 basic shareholders of Hathway Investment Nepal Limited are going to sell a large amount of shares owned by them.

The lock-in period for the company’s shares ended on September 18. The 4 promoter shareholders of the company will sell 2,85,727 units of shares owned by them.

Investors have informed the company to sell their shares. According to the company’s information to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), founder shareholder Hemraj Dhakal will sell 20 lakh units.

As soon as the lockdown period ends, Dhakal is going to sell the shares he owns. According to the last trading price on Thursday, the shares of Hathway Investments were trading at Rs 452.90 per share. According to this price, the market value of the 20 lakh units of shares that Dhakal is going to sell is equivalent to Rs 90.58 crore.

Ambaka Sharma Lamichhane, the TAG_CLOSE_u_16 TAG_OPEN_u_16 founder shareholder of the company, is going to sell the shares she owns. She is going to sell 2 lakh units of shares owned by her. According to the closing price of Thursday, she is going to sell the shares worth Rs 9.05 crore.

Similarly, the founder shareholder of the company, Sumit Pradhan, will sell 3,48,666 shares in his name. He has informed the company to sell the shares he owns. He has issued a notice for the sale of shares worth Rs 14,84,96,000 as per the closing price on Thursday.

Similarly, Accra investor Manish Dhakal will also sell 3,37,061 units of shares owned by him. He is going to sell shares worth Rs 15,26,54,000 at the closing price on Thursday.

According to the directive issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), the primary shareholders of a company should inform the concerned company about their intention to sell 5 percent or more of the shares at least 15 days before the sale of their shares.

According to this provision, the basic shareholders have informed the company about their intention to sell the shares they hold. The company has given the information to NEPSE.
