15 families rescued from Hanumante and Godavari rivers

Bhaktapur. As many as 15 families living in tents on the banks of the rivers that were at risk due to the floods in the Hanumante and Godavari rivers due to incessant rains for the past two days have been rescued and shifted to safer places.

Police rescued 92 people from 15 families living in makeshift tents and shifted them to Adarsha Janapremi School in Kausaltar.TAG_OPEN_div_6

Surya Bahadur Khadka, chief of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, said that 92 people have been safely shifted to Triveni Sthal which connects the Sagbari, Hanumante, Manohara and Godawari rivulets on the border of Balkot and Lokanthali.TAG_OPEN_div_4
