Kathmandu. Himalaya Motorx Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Himalaya Organization, has announced a special scheme for the Maxus e-Terron 9 electric pickup. The company has launched a scheme with 1 year free charging and easy financing facility under the ‘Dashainko Umang, Maxus Sanga’ campaign.

Under the scheme, customers who purchase the Maxus e-Terron 9 will get free charging facility for one year. According to the company, this will help reduce the operating cost of the customer.

Similarly, customers can buy cars with 20 percent down payment and EMI facility will be available for a maximum of 7 years. This financing facility can be availed from Maxus’ showroom in Hattisar, Kathmandu.

The Maxus e-Terron 9 is available in two variants, Comfort and Premium. The company says that this vehicle is a combination of car-like comfort, SUV-level comfort and off-road capability.

The vehicle has an all-wheel drive system with four-wheel drive. This will help in traction, stability and handling on various roads and terrains. The vehicle uses a battery of 102.2 kWh and is claimed to have a range of up to 560 km on a single charge.

At the same time, 700 Nm of torque will provide the necessary power even in uphill and difficult terrain. The vehicle is said to have SUV-level comfortable travel with air suspension.

According to the company, the Maxus e-Terron 9 battery comes with a warranty of up to 8 years or 200,000 km and the motor comes with a warranty of up to 5 years or 160,000 km. The company has said that the customers who buy the vehicle under the Dashain scheme will also get 1 year auto plus insurance and 1 financial year’s road fee.

Sujan Shrestha, showroom manager of Himalaya Motors, said that the scheme has been introduced to provide easy ownership opportunities to the customers targeting Dashain. According to him, the plan with one year free charging and easy financing will make the purchase of Maxus e-Terron 9 easier.
