Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and TikTok sign partnership to promote Nepal’s tourism in front of the world

Kathmandu. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and TikTok have announced a joint partnership. This agreement has been signed to promote Nepal’s unique geographical beauty, cultural heritage and adventure experiences among audiences around the world.

At the heart of this initiative is the hashtag Lifetime Experience, which is a campaign to be led by creators and will provide a special in-app experience to help passengers find the best destinations to visit and best places to visit in Nepal.

The Board and TikTok will collaborate with renowned travel creators, both domestic and foreign, inviting them to visit Nepal and make a short, engaging video of their journey and presenting nepal’s beautiful natural and cultural heritage to audiences around the world.

During the campaign period, creators will create content that presents Nepal’s natural beauty, culture, festivals, festivals, art, cuisine and community traditions to the world.

The Tourism Board will welcome the creators visiting Nepal and will coordinate travel, hospitality and expert guidance so that they have easy access to Kathmandu Valley and other destinations.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey said the partnership between the Board and TikTok was not limited to international promotion.

“The workshops and capacity building programmes planned under this partnership will provide Nepali youth, entrepreneurs and content creators with the skills to showcase their heritage, culture and enterprises,” he added. ’

Minister Pandey said that tourism is not only an industry for Nepal but it is also the backbone of our socio-economic development. “It creates jobs, supports small and medium businesses, empowers rural communities and protects cultural traditions,” he said.
