Sankhuwasabha. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Dipak Khadka, in a meeting with journalists at Sankhuwasabha on Saturday urged the political parties sitting outside the government to participate in the journey of prosperity without wasting their time by making unnecessary comments as a stable government has been formed as per the wishes of the people.
At a press meet organized by Nepal Press Union Sankhuwasabha, he urged the major political parties to be responsible for the welfare of the country and the people and made it clear that the government was moving ahead for good governance, rapid development and economic progress by amending the legal hurdles according to the time.
Responding to the queries posed by journalists, Minister Khadka urged all to shun the tendency of obstructing development through false and negative propaganda. “Fishing in murky waters pushes the country back, so it is necessary for all parties, big or small, to be responsible and take the country towards the path of prosperity,” he said. ’
In the context of Sankhuwasabha district, he said the government’s decision to establish Yogamaya Ayurveda University has given a new message of educational development in the hilly districts. Similarly, pointing out the strategic importance of sankhuwasabha inter-country tri-junction road, he expressed the belief that it would not only contribute to Nepal’s prosperity but also to the expansion of trilateral relations.
Minister Khadka shared that the government was working to bring the Kimanthang transit point into operation at the earliest and the Arun III hydropower project was nearing completion. According to him, preparations are underway to construct the 1063 MW project, which is one of the largest projects in the country and it will make a revolutionary contribution to the national energy generation.
Reminding that every citizen has the right over natural resources like air, water and solar, Minister Khadka said that the government has come up with a plan to provide loans up to Rs 500,000 to the poor without collateral. He said that this has started the journey towards the path of prosperity along with the nation by incorporating them.
Minister Khadka said, “The people living below the poverty line will also prosper and the country will move towards prosperity.” Development and prosperity are everyone’s wish, so all parties have to come together and contribute to make the nation prosperous. ’
