Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) provides loan-to-value ratio to 80 per cent for auto loan to entrepreneurs affected by Genji agitation

. KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced concessions for entrepreneurs affected by the Genji movement. Issuing a circular on Friday, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made arrangements to provide loans at 0.5 percent premium and maintain loan-to-value ratio of vehicles up to 80 percent.

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made a provision that the licensed institution may reschedule or restructure the loan subject to the following conditions by ascertaining the impact of the loan disbursed to the industry, trade, business, establishment and other borrowers directly affected by the extraordinary situation created during the Genji agitation.TAG_OPEN_div_16

The Rastra Bank (TAG_OPEN_div_14 NRB) has to complete such re-tabulation or restructuring by mid-January 2082 and the loan retabulation or restructuring as mentioned above should be classified in the same category as it was in Ashad end 2082 and the loan loss provision should be maintained.

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made arrangements to reschedule or restructure the loan to the borrowers who have forward÷ back round÷linkage with the borrowers who are directly affected by the extraordinary situation created during the GenG agitation.TAG_OPEN_div_12 According to the provision of the Rastra Bank, this arrangement should also be completed by mid-January.
