Ex-PM Madhav Kumar Nepal released on bail

Kathmandu. A special court has ordered the release of former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on bail of Rs 3.5 million.

Nepal has been ordered to be released on bail of Rs 3.5 million in the land grabbing case related to Patanjali Yogpeeth and Ayurveda Company.

A division bench of Special Court Justices Tej Narayan Singh Rai, Ram Bahadur Thapa and Bidur Koirala granted bail to Nepal.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case against 93 people, including Nepal, in connection with the Patanjali land grabbing case on June 14.
