Mountain. Parbat: One person was killed in a jeep accident at Nepane of Phalewas municipality-8 in Parbat last night. Dol Bahadur Chhetri, 39, of Thanamaula of Phalebas-8 was killed when the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 697) en route to Falamkhani from Lamaekhola overturned, said Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Ram Prasad Sapkota. According to him, the jeep fell about 150 meters down the road.

Chhetri, who was seriously injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara.

Bikram Sunar, 34, of Falewas-7 and Suraj Sunar, 33, of Thanamaula of Ward No. 8 were injured in the accident. Both the injured are undergoing treatment at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara. Police Inspector Sapkota said that their condition is out of danger and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
