Kathmandu. Both houses of the federal parliament are meeting. The meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor at 1 pm today.

Today’s meeting has decided to pass the civil service bill. There were complaints that although the country had gone into a federal structure, there were complications in the implementation of administrative federalism. Though the agenda for the passage of the bill was fixed in the meeting of the House of Representatives on June 14, it was stalled at the last minute.

Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Raj Kumar Gupta will present a proposal seeking discussion on the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080 bs along with the report of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee.

The bill will be passed after lawmakers give their views. The Bill will be passed by the House of Representatives and sent to the National Assembly. The Speaker will certify it after it is passed by the National Assembly and sent back to the House of Representatives. The Speaker will certify and submit it to the President and it will come into force after certification.

Similarly, a meeting of the National Assembly is also being held today. Among the various headings of the Appropriation Bill, 2082, the appropriation heads of 14 ministries are likely to be discussed in a grouped manner in the meeting to be held at 12:15 pm.
