Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank in partnership with PhonePe has launched a fully digital virtual credit card. Customers can make payments through PhonePe QR merchant in a safe and convenient manner from any location.

The 45-day interest-free period and flexible installment facility on the physical credit card will also be applicable to this virtual credit card.

Under this service, there is no need for physical credit card in circulation, so the hassle of carrying the card will end. With the launch of the service, the bank has also introduced a special cashback offer of up to Rs 500 for customers using virtual credit cards.

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, which is at the forefront of development banks in Nepal in the field of digital innovation, has become the first development bank to launch this service. With the addition of this facility, the bank believes that its digital banking service will be more customer-friendly and technology-centric.
