Kathmandu. The earthquake occurred around Kotdanda in Mugu district. According to the National Centre for Seismology and Research, Lainchaur, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck around Kotdanda in Mugu at 8.39 am today.
An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale had struck around Jima in Mugu on July 15.
Earthquakes of the Sasana Richter scale have been occurring in Nepal lately. Nepal being a Himalayan region is considered as an earthquake risk zone.
