Gulmi. Gulmi: Vehicular movement on the Ridi-Wamitaksar road in Gulmi has come to a halt due to landslide triggered by incessant rain last night. The road has been completely obstructed due to landslide in the lower area near the border of Chandrakot Rural Municipality-8 and Musikot Municipality-5 this morning.

Information Officer at the District Police Office and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru said that a police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Shivadhan Prasad Katharia has been mobilized from the local Majuwa police post.

He said that work is underway to clear the landslide. Vehicles going from Wamitaksar to Palpa and Butwal via Ridi have been stopped on the road. The road is one of the most motorized roads in the district.
