Kathmandu. At present, there is an influence of monsoon winds across the country. At present, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country as the low pressure line of monsoon is slightly closer to western Nepal towards the north.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at many places of the hilly region including Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of the rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places of the Sudur Paschim Province and at one or two places of the hilly region of the rest of the provinces. Light to moderate rain/snowfall is likely to occur at a few places of the high-hilly and mountainous region of the country.

Similarly, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. According to the Meteorological Bulletin issued by the Division, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region including Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of the rest of the country.

Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Sudur Pashchim Province. Light to moderate rain÷/snow is likely to occur at a few places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
