Gorkha. The Nuila border point of Chumnubri rural municipality-7, Chekampar in northern Gorkha district has been opened. The Tibetan security forces have opened the border point from today, pasangfunjo, the outgoing ward chair of Chhekampar, lama told RSS.
According to the outgoing ward chair Lama, this time the border has been opened for three months. The checkpoint was closed after the corona epidemic. Last year, the border was opened for a month. With the opening of the Tibetan border, locals are happy that they will be able to bring food, clothes and other essential sustenance from the Tibetan market by selling herbs including Yarsagumba collected recently in the Tibetan market.
However, the Ruila border point at Chumnubri-1 has not been opened yet.
