Kathmandu. The historic open platform, which witnessed nepal’s political transformation, has now become green. Ten months ago, The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) had planted saplings here.

The open platform, which was used and encroached for different purposes at different times, has now taken a different form. At the time of the construction of The Kathmandu View Tower, the bus park and the open platform of the shop were built up to the quarters of the construction materials and workers while constructing the new building of Bir Hospital.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is constructing a park with two playgrounds after the controversial plan to build an underground parking lot.
