Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested 52 people, including six Chinese nationals, involved in illegal dating apps and crypto transactions from The Fire Service Chowk at Wafal of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

A gang has been arrested by registering a social software development company by renting a house in the area and operating the call center and #MeToo dating app illegally.

Similarly, as a branch, a house is being rented and operated in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13, Chagal and is doing online dating spam and crypto transactions through dating app by luring various Nepali girls

Police have arrested several persons with Rs 1,399,950 in cash.

They were nabbed from Lalitpur Metropolitan City-4, Fire Brigade Chowk and Chagal of Kathmandu on June 14. Out of the 52 people arrested, six main Chinese nationals involved in the transaction have been booked in connection with non-material currency and further investigation is underway against the remaining 46.
