Kathmandu. Mountain Helicopter Pvt. Ltd. has brought the helicopter through Tatopani border point.
Dil Bahadur Oli, general manager of the company, said that the Airbus B3 helicopter manufactured by Airbus Company of France has been brought to Nepal.
The helicopter company, which is flying in China, has purchased and brought it to Nepal from China. The helicopter was loaded in a 40-foot container.
General Manager Oli said that the flight service will be brought into service within a week with the approval of customs procedure and regulator Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal. “The helicopter, which was made from France and was flying in China, has been brought to Nepal,” he said. Along with the new helicopter, the company has three helicopters.
General Manager Wali said that flying from the sky has to travel about 10,000 kilometers and it is also very expensive. Earlier, the company had brought a helicopter from Calcutta port to Kathmandu via Birgunj. This is the first time that the helicopter has been brought through Tatopani customs point.
