Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs and Artisans’ Struggle Committee has staged a demonstration demanding scrapping of the 2 percent luxury tax imposed on gold. They have demanded the scrapping of 13 per cent VAT imposed on diamonds, jewellery and stones, and immediate promulgation of the Consumer Employees, Artisans and Business Friendship Act.
