Kathmandu. Switzerland’s Federal Foreign Minister Ignazio Daniel Giovanni Cassis paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.
During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, discussions were held on continuing cooperation in the field of development by further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.
Minister Cassis said his support would continue in nepal’s development, strengthening federalism, transitional justice, climate change and disaster risk management.
Prime Minister Oli said the situation in Nepal has gradually improved due to the formation of the government with the goal of development, good governance and protection of the democratic system in collaboration with the two major parties. He thanked the Swiss government for its continued support to Nepal’s development.
Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Dr Daniel Meully and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present on the occasion.
