Kathmandu. Member of Parliament of Rastriya Swatantra Party. Swarnim Wagle has expressed concern that Nepal Rastra Bank, Securities Board of Nepal and Insurance Authority are going towards sinking.

Expressing this concern at a meeting of the Finance Committee under the House of Representatives today, he said such institutions should not be taken over by anyone.

“The political form was crippled, corrupt and useless. Now the financial institutions have also been taken over,” he said, adding, “There is misgovernance everywhere. He said that the economic sector was saved a little bit in absolute terms, now that too has gone.

“Now it has gone to policy lobbying, corruption, capture which is being seen,” he said, adding, “How to shield it in different organizations, how to seal it further? I think it should range from prudential regulation to legislative cover. ’

Rastra Bank, Insurance Authority and Securities Board experts claimed that it has been taken in the direction of sinking. How to shield it? He said that attention should be paid to this.
