Kathmandu. Rasuwa: The bodies of nine people have been recovered from floods in Rasuwa today. The death toll has risen to nine with the recovery of one body in Chitwan tonight.
According to the latest information provided by the Police Headquarters, 19 people are still missing. The body of Assistant Sub-Inspector Lal Bahadur Shrestha, who went missing from Rasuwa in the flood, was found on the banks of trishuli river at 15 kilo in Chitwan.

According to him, two policemen, six Chinese nationals and 11 civilians are still missing. Similarly, 57 people have been rescued, according to the details made public by the police.
A total of 383 police teams were mobilized to rescue the flood victims. The flood swept away the Miteri bridge along the Nepal-China border, washed away 24 containers, six trucks and 35 EV vehicles. The road from Dhunche to Timure has also been blocked. Rasuwagadhi Hydro Dam and Customs Office Rasuwa yard have also been damaged.
