Kathmandu. In the 11 months of the current fiscal year 2081-82, the credit to the stock market has increased by 42.8 percent. According to the data released by The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Tuesday, the margin loan has increased by 42.8 percent till Mid-May of the current fiscal year.
In the 11 months of the current fiscal year, rs 38.57 billion has been invested in the share mortgage. According to Nepal Rastra Bank( NRB), rs 128.67 billion has been invested in the share mortgage during the period.
As of Mid-May, the highest amount of share mortgage loan has crossed Rs 10 million. During this period, the share mortgage loan of more than Rs 1 crore has increased by 58.1 percent. In the last 11 months, rs 32.49 billion has been invested in this sector. In total, such loan investment is Rs 88.42 billion.
Similarly, loans between Rs 5 million and Rs 10 million increased by 23.1 per cent. This type of loan has been invested in Rs 2.87 billion till this period. Overall, such loan investment is worth Rs 15.3 billion.
Similarly, loan investment between Rs 2.5 million and Rs 5 million has increased by 17 percent in the 11 months of the current fiscal year. During this period, the investment in such shares has been Rs 2.45 billion. The total loan investment is Rs 16.87 billion.
During this period, the investment in small shares of Rs 2.5 million has increased by 10.4 percent. In the 11 months of the current fiscal year, rs 762.8 million has been invested in the share mortgage loan of less than Rs 2.5 million. Overall, such loan investment has been rs 8.07 billion.
