Kathmandu. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Tribhuvan University (TU) has approved the 63rd Greyslist with 89,191 students who have passed in various faculties and levels.
A meeting chaired by Prime Minister and Vice-Chancellor KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar today approved the grace list presented by Registrar Prof Dr Kedar Prasad Rijal.
The budget and programmes for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS have been presented in the meeting. Vice-Chancellor Oli called for establishing the university as a competitive and capable university suitable for the 21st century.
Likewise, Minister for Education, Science and Technology and Vice-Chancellor Raghuji Panta stressed the need for the university to work accordingly as the education sector has an important role to play in fulfilling the national resolve of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
Newly appointed Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Deepak Aryal said that at least one percent (about 4,000) of the total students in the university should be foreign students.
