Kathmandu. Min Bahadur Gurung, chairman of Bhatbhateni Super Market, handed over the extended service building of TU Teaching Hospital. The building, which was funded by him, came into operation on Monday.
Gurung constructed and handed over the EHS building at a cost of Rs 95 million. Gurung had earlier constructed an emergency building at the teaching hospital at a cost of Rs 100 million. He said that the building was constructed and handed over in the memory of late father Brish Bahadur Gurung and mother Dhanmaya Gurung.
“In 2007, Dr. Arun Sayami had asked if there was a need for an emergency building in the teaching hospital, he would build it,” he said, recalling the old days. After that, in 2068 BS, we started the process of building and handed over the emergency building. He also said that this has been completed.
