Birgunj. Birgunj: The Dry Port Customs Office at Sirsia has been merged with Birgunj Customs Office from today. In addition, integrated office service delivery has also been started.
Earlier, there was an integrated check post under birgunj customs office. Similarly, the Dry Port Customs Office existed as a separate office.
Goods and goods under foreign trade are imported and exported through cargo vehicles at the integrated check post.
Earlier, goods were imported and exported through railway racks from the dry port customs office. Deepak Lamichhane, chief customs administrator of Birgunj Customs Office, said the dry port customs office has been merged with birgunj customs office as per the decision of the federal government.
Meanwhile, the Dry Port Customs Office has collected Rs 49.82 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year.
