Kathmandu. Dev Kumar Dhakal has been appointed as the chairman of Rastriya Banijya Bank. Dhakal has been appointed as the chairman of the bank with effect from Thursday.

Dhakal, a former executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, had worked for a long time in the Department of Regulation of Banks and Financial Institutions and the Department of Bank Supervision. He is considered to be an expert in the operations and administration of the bank. Dhakal has been appointed as the chairman for a period of four years.
