Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal has urged the youths to create opportunities in the country.

Speaking at the 21st Annual General Meeting of Nepal Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) held in the capital on Friday, Chairman Dhakal highlighted the possibilities in Nepal and advised the youths to create employment opportunities in the country.

“There are many opportunities in Nepal. A lot can be done by staying in Nepal. Jobs can be created. I urge the youth to create opportunities in the country,” he said. Stating that youth would play an important role in the economic development of the country, he said that domestic capital could be mobilized to develop entrepreneurship in the country.

Stating that a Nepal Public Limited company worth Rs 10 billion has been established under the leadership of the Federation to ensure that there is no shortage of capital for those who want to work in the country, Chairman Dhakal opined that the work could be supported in the innovation of the youth.

“Domestic capital mobilization is necessary for development. “Nepal has immense potential in agriculture, tourism, hydropower and information technology sectors. The only need is to promote the right policy facilitation and youth innovation. ”

Stating that the FNCCI has been advocating policy debate with the government for the economic prosperity of the country and as a result, more than 30 laws have been amended, he said, adding that an environment for investment is being created. Stating that the Federation was always ready to attract entrepreneurship and innovation to the youth, he said that the recently amended Statute of the Federation (NYEF) has the provision of becoming an ex-officio central member of the Federation.
