‘Sky Walk’ to be held in Tanahun’s Ainapahara from today

Tanahun. Tanahun: An adventure sky walk has come into commercial operation from today at Ainapahara, a tourist destination at Abukhaireni Rural Municipality-2 in Tanahun district.

The construction of the sky walk was started here from the second week of May. A fee of Rs 250 per person has been fixed for the sky walk.

Shukra Chuman, chairperson of the rural municipality, informed that the sky walk has been constructed with the objective of making Ainapahara a tourism hub. The sky walk has been constructed at an investment of Rs 1.5 million.

A total of 50 meters high and 57 meters long skywalk has a space of one foot in the middle of each step. He said, “Walking on the sky walk can experience a unique adventure in the midst of greenery, quiet guard and open sky. There is no need to fear as it is a high quality construction with safety measures. ’

He said that the infrastructure has been added here as this place has become a center of attraction for tourists in recent times. He expressed the belief that the sky walk would help in the development of tourism and adventure activities here.

This place, which is adjacent to the Prithvi Highway, has been developed as a tourist destination. Domestic tourists flock here on holidays and Saturdays. More than 1,000 tourists visit the temple on Saturday, said Ash Bahadur Gurung, ward chair of Abukhaireni rural municipality-2.

He said that this place has been chosen by tourists by carving various artistic figures on stone. “The rural municipality has promoted this place as a tourist destination. This place is also preferred because it is connected to the highway. ’

The rural municipality has already earned more than Rs 6 million from Ainapahara. After the development of the place near the highway as a tourist destination, a park has been built to make this place more beautiful and attractive.

Here, the shape of Ganesha has been made on the stone of the place where the waterfall fell, while the shape of mother and child and fairy has been made on the stone near the waterfall. Tanahu: Water from the Sidhi rivulet, located at the foot of Chhimkeshwari, the highest Mountain Range of Tanahun, has flowed into the waterfall.

The rural municipality has prepared a detailed master plan report to streamline the Ainapahara waterfall. According to the detailed report of the project, a budget of Rs 100 million will be required to manage this place. According to the report, buddha statues, railings, parking and other structures will be constructed in this place.
