Barun Beverage Nepal, the authorized manufacturer of Pepsi, has made a business of Rs 6.75 billion.

Kathmandu. Barun Beverages Nepal, the authorized manufacturer of Pepsi in Nepal and the manufacturer of various ‘colludrings’, has made a business worth Rs 6.45 billion in eight and a half months.

The company has done business worth Rs 5.78 billion in eight and a half months of 2028. The company had a turnover of Rs 7.74 billion till 2024.

Similarly, the company had a turnover of Rs 7.62 billion in 2023, Rs 8.24 billion in 2022 and Rs 6.54 billion in 2021. According to the company, after 2022, the company’s business has been declining.

The company’s operating income (OBIDTA÷/OI) is increasing year by year. From 26.3 per cent in 2021, the company’s revenue slipped to 21.2 per cent in 2022. In the following year, the company’s revenue has increased. Obidta stood at 25.5 per cent in 2024 from 22.2 per cent in 2023. Similarly, in 2025, the company’s revenue stood at 28.4 percent.

Established in Nepal in 2042, the company is the official seller of Pepsi. Its registration office is located at Putalisadak in Kathmandu, while the manufacturing factories are located at PepsiCola and Nawalparasi in Kathmandu. The company manufactures and sells carbonated non-alcoholic beverages under brands such as Pepsi Mountain Dew, Slice, Mirinda, Seven-Up, Aquafina, Soda and Sting. Varun Beverages India owns 100 per cent stake in Varun Beverages (Nepal).

The company has also rated a loan of Rs 3.47 billion for short-term loans. Rating agency ICRA Nepal has rated the company’s debt as ‘ICRANP-A1’.
