Kathmandu. The business of Bottlers Nepal and Bottlers Tarai trade is declining every year. Bottlers Nepal company has done business worth Rs 7.10 billion in the nine months of the current fiscal year.
The company had a turnover of Rs 11.37 billion in 2024. Similarly, the company had a turnover of Rs 12.64 billion in 2023. In 2022, the company’s business stood at Rs 12.52 billion. The company’s business has declined every year.
The company’s operating income (OBIDTA÷OI) is also declining. The company’s operating income stood at 13.9 percent in the nine months of the current fiscal year. In 2024, the company’s revenue was 16.6 percent.
Similarly, it was 18 percent in 2023 and 19.1 percent in 2022. The company has a debt rating of Rs 3.37 billion for short-term loans. Icra Nepal has given ‘ICRA NP-A1’ rating to the company’s debt.
Bottlers Nepal Company has been selling in Nepal since 1979 in collaboration with Southwest Asia Holding Limited. Bottlers Nepal owns 76 per cent stake in the company while Gorkha Brewery Limited owns 22 per cent. The rest belongs to the general public.
Similarly, Bottlers Nepal (Tarai) had a turnover of Rs 9.19 billion in 2022. The company had a turnover of Rs 9.40 billion in 2023 and Rs 8.80 billion in 2024.
Bottlers Nepal (Tarai) has been producing and selling beverages. The general public owns 91 per cent shares of Bottlers (Terai). The company has a market share of 38 percent. The company has a rating of Rs 2.39 billion for short-term loans. The company has 250 dealers across the country.
