Kathmandu. The second section of the ring road expansion from Kalanki to Sukedhara Dhobi khola road has become green with the growing of grass and shrubs along with the rain.

Due to the delay in the expansion of the road, grass and weeds are now covering the road. Although the construction of service lanes has been completed in some places of the Second Section of the Ring Road, the construction of the main lane has not progressed.

Although the Chinese team has carried out various studies and design works in this section to be expanded with the grant assistance of the Chinese government, the remaining work has not been done.

At present, the road from Kalanki to Narayan Gopal Chowk is covered with grass and shrubs on the right side of the road.

Similarly, the work of extending the 700-meter road from Narayan Gopal Chowk to Chappal Factory is also going on at a very slow pace.
