China ready to help rebuild flood-ravaged infrastructure

Kathmandu. Rasuwa: China has agreed to help in the reconstruction of flood-affected physical structures in Rasuwa district.

During the meeting, SIDCA Chairman Xiaodong said that the government would provide necessary support for the reconstruction of physical structures and work would be done in such a way that the customs process would be operated soon.

Sidka President Xiaodong thanked the Government of Nepal for its proactive ness and support in rescuing and searching for those missing in the aftermath of the floods.

Stating that post-disaster reconstruction was nepal’s top priority, Finance Minister Poudel thanked the Chinese side for their readiness, concern and commitment towards the reconstruction of physical structures.

“The Rasuwa border point is important not only for import and export but also in terms of revenue. Therefore, we will move ahead with the reconstruction soon,” said Finance Minister Poudel.
