Kathmandu. Nabil Bank has issued debentures from today.

The bank has issued 3 million units of debentures worth Rs 3 billion at the rate of Rs 1,000 per unit. The bank will distribute 60 percent i.e. 1.8 million units of debentures worth Rs 1.8 billion individually. Similarly, the remaining 40 percent i.e. 1 billion 20

It has decided to distribute 1.2 million units worth Rs 10 million to the general public.

The bank has issued ‘7 percent Nabil Debenture 2089’ at an interest rate of 7 percent per annum for a period of eight years. Similarly, 5 percent i.e. 60,000 units of debenture have been set aside for the mutual funds.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 to maximum of all units. Applications can be made till July 10. If the application is not received as per the demand during this period, then the application can be submitted till August 30.

Nepal SBI Merchant Banking is its sales manager. Applications can be made through banks and financial institutions that are members of the Securities Board of Nepal and my shares.
