Kathmandu. In the last one year, Nepal received mobile phones worth Rs 35.54 billion.
According to the Customs Department, 2,184,694 units of phones were imported last year. In the last fiscal year, nepal imported phones worth Rs 35.54 billion and the state earned Rs 6.62 billion in revenue.
Most of the phones in Nepal are imported from Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Qatar, UAE, UK, US and Vietnam.
