Non-Resident Nepali Association Hong Kong elects new leadership unopposed under the leadership of Anu Rai

Hong Kong. The 10th general convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Hong Kong, has elected a new leader unopposed.

Ten office-bearers, including the chairperson, have been elected unopposed in the 10th session held today.

Anu Rai has been elected as the chairperson, Santosh Kumar Gurung as the vice-president and Kabita Gurung as the vice-president.

Likewise, Indra Purja Pun has been elected as general secretary, Bishwanath Ghising as secretary and Arjun Gauchan as treasurer.

Similarly, Satyawati Gahatraj has been elected as women coordinator, Manoj Gautam as youth coordinator, Du Bahadur Gurung as member and Dilliram Bishwakarma as ICC member.

Inaugurating the convention, Consul General of Hong Kong Bindeshwar Lekhak said that the Non-Resident Nepali Campaign is important for connecting Nepalis living abroad. He said that the process of coming to Hong Kong from Nepal started in 1948.

Outgoing NCC Hong Kong President Gokarna Dhakal thanked everyone for completing his four-year term as chairman.
