Arun Mandal, TAG_OPEN_div_7 a local, said that the water of saptakoshi river comes through ‘seepage’ and the water is cold, so people come from nearby places as well as locals to bathe. Rupesh Jha, a local, said that more than 100 people are coming here every day for bathing.
According TAG_OPEN_div_5 to locals, the number of people coming to bathe has increased with the increasing heat as the water here is cold even during the hot sun. Drivers and passengers of long and short distance vehicles also take a bath and take rest in the katan area.
