Banking sector should be made technology-friendly, transparent and people-centric: Deputy Governor Dhungana

Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Deputy Governor Neelam Dhungana Timsina has stressed the need to make the banking sector more technology-friendly and transparent in the days to come.

She was speaking at a discussion on ‘Iman Samvad: Future of Banking’ organized by The Economic Media Association Nepal (IMAN).

She stressed the need to make the banking sector modern technology-friendly, transparent and people-centric.

“The rapid development of digital financial services and the development of customer-friendly systems will determine the future of the banking sector,” she said. ’
