Kathmandu. Now various bodies under the local level will not have to take approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank while opening accounts in commercial banks. The central bank issued a circular today.
According to the Directive of Government Transactions, 2076 (Second Amendment, 2081), the Rastra Bank will no longer have to take further permission to operate accounts in the commercial banks approved by the Rastra Bank of the committees, boards and c group of funds under the local level. Earlier, such accounts could be operated only after the permission of the Rastra Bank.
