Bhadrapur. The Transport Management Office, Jhapa has collected Rs 1.06 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year 2081/82 UNDER various heads. The office has collected Rs 129.53 million more revenue than the fiscal year 2080/81 BS.

According to Information Officer at the Transport Management Office, Raju Oli, revenue of Rs 932.16 million was collected in the fiscal year 2080/81 BS. He said that out of 13,970 vehicles registered in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS, 19,778 passed the practical test for driving license.

Similarly, the office has renewed 22,691 vehicles in a year. Information Officer Oli informed that the highest number of 4,962 motorcycles were registered in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS while 3,410 scooters were registered. A total of 2,688 e-rickshaws, 767 e-scooters, 249 tractors, 246 jeeps, 258 cars, 165 buses, 146 vans, 39 tippers, 77 trucks and 23 mini-buses were registered during the period.
