Kathmandu. On the third trading day of the week, the stock market rose by double digits to 3,000 points on Tuesday. The stock market has crossed 3,000 points after almost four years. The stock market had previously stood at 3044.87 points on September 15, 2018.
On Wednesday, the NEPSE index rose by 30.76 points to 3002.07 points. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the stock market has increased by 1.03 percent today. Today, the Sensitive Index has gained 3.66 points, the Float Index has gained 1.97 points and the Sensitive Float Index has gained 1.12 points.
Although the stock market has increased by double digits, today’s transaction amount has decreased compared to Monday. Shares worth Rs 19.36 billion were traded on Monday, while shares worth Rs 18.52 billion were traded on Tuesday.
