Nuwakot. Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal has said that the installation of bailey bridge at Lhendekhola has started so that rasuwagadhi border point would be made operational before Dashain.

He said this while talking to reporters in Nuwakot on Tuesday after inspecting the Galchi-Trishuli-Mailung-Syafrubensi-Rasuwagadhi road project, which is being expanded as a tri-nation international highway.

The Miteri bridge, a symbol of Nepal-China friendship, was washed away by the flood in Lhende khola on July 24.

“The concerned bodies have been mobilized to operate the Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi tri-junction during the festive season by operating the Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi tri-junction,” he said, adding, “It has been agreed to operate the Syafrubensi-Rasuwagadhi road section towards Rasuwa with the support of the Chinese government.” ’
