Kathmandu. CpN (UML) leader Pashupati Dayal Mishra has accused former bank CEO rajendra Bir Raya of re-appointing a person who had sent a letter declaring him ineligible in the Karnali Development Bank scam.
Mishra had appointed Dinesh Kumar Rawat as the executive director of the bank when he was the chairman. Shortly after Dinesh Kumar Rawat’s appointment as ceo, Mishra’s tenure as chairman ended and the Rastra Bank has claimed that Rawat is ineligible.
Rawat, who had sent a letter declaring him ineligible by the Rastra Bank, was appointed as the acting CHIEF executive officer at that time, he said. Rai then re-appointed Rawat as the executive officer, he said.
“After the end of my tenure, the Rastra Bank sent a letter stating that Rawat was not qualified, after which he was appointed as the acting CHIEF executive officer and after some time, the Board of Directors headed by Rajendra Bir Rai re-appointed him as the CHIEF Executive Officer. “He said in a statement.
