Kathmandu. Bagmati Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota has been unwell. The swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed ministers scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed due to sudden health problems.

According to the Office of the Province Chief, Devkota left for Kathmandu this morning for treatment, so the swearing-in ceremony has been postponed until further notice.

Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama on Wednesday appointed State Assembly members Govinda Lamsal as minister for internal affairs and law, Maya Shrestha as minister for youth and sports and Geeta Gurung as minister for cooperatives and poverty alleviation.
