Myagdi. A total of 338 families have benefited from three drinking water projects constructed in Malika rural municipality-2 this year.
Khawang Sheredhara, Dhulwang and Ghanglepani Drinking Water, Sanitation and Sanitation Projects have been constructed with the financial and technical support of Nepal Health (Newa) and Malika Rural Municipality.
Udaya Kumar Budhathoki, ward chair of Malika Rural Municipality-2, said that drinking water has been distributed to households through 338 taps constructed at a total cost of Rs 17.17 million.
Newa rural municipality has invested Rs 8,070,210 and Malika rural municipality has invested Rs 4,291,090 in the construction of drinking water project.
Seven drinking water, sanitation and sanitation schemes were constructed in ward no. 1, 2 and 3 of Malika rural municipality in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS, said rural municipality chair Beg Prasad Garbuja. Ward No. 1 Niskot has 125 and Ward No. According to him, 225 families of Dadagaun, Kiteni, Aul, Saragdi and Syaglung of Ward No. 3, 122 families of Patle and 53 families of Lumpipar have been benefited.
