Kathmandu. Ncell Axiata CEO Jabbor Kayumov has resigned from his post. Kayumov was appointed ceo and managing director of Ncell on May 29, 2017. He took charge on May 27, 2018.

With his resignation, Syed MD Inamul Kabir has been given the responsibility of acting CEO and Chief Financial Officer. Kyumov previously served as ceo of Telia (formerly TeliaSonera) and Vimpelcom (now Veon).

Kabir has worked in strategic finance, business transformation and corporate. Inamu, who is currently appointed as acting CEO of Ncell, worked as deputy CEO and chief financial officer of UCB Fintech Company in Bangladesh before joining Ncell. There he worked strategically for sustainable development.

After working in Nestle Bangladesh Limited and KPMG Bangladesh, He has worked as senior finance director of Telenor Group in Bangladesh (Grameenphone) and Thailand (DTAC). He is a Chartered Accountant from the Inam Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School, UK.
