Bhojpur. 95 percent of the people of Khoxik of Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality-8 located in the southern part of the district have access to electricity. In this geographically remote place, central electricity has been extended to the homes of 95 percent of the citizens with the active participation of the ward.

Ward Chair Bach Kumar Rai said that the central electricity has been installed in the houses of 95 percent of the citizens by starting the work from zero condition of electricity expansion. Ward Chair Rai said that the target is to declare the remaining houses as bright wards in this fiscal year by expanding electricity soon.

“We have been able to install central electricity in the houses of 95 per cent of the citizens here,” he said. The target is to declare a bright ward in this fiscal year. ’

Dil Kumar Yogi, a local resident, said that after the expansion of the central electricity, they have been freed from the compulsion of spending the night with the help of years of tuki lights. He said that the expansion of the central line of electricity has made it easier at a time when people have been spending the night in the light of tuki and solar for generations. According to him, the expansion of electricity has made the day-to-day functioning of Kutani Pisani easier with the light.

Dal Bahadur Rai, a local resident, said that the expansion of the central line has made it easier to connect with the access to information despite being a remote area. He said that after the expansion of electricity, there is a situation to get information about the country and abroad by staying in the village using the net, internet and television.

“We have been facing a lot of problems due to lack of electricity,” he said. Electricity has made the life of the village easier. Children are able to study easily. ’
