Strategic Partnership Agreement between Chamber and Sri Lankan Chamber to promote Small and Medium Enterprises

Kathmandu. Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and Sri Lankan Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (SLCSM I) have signed a strategic partnership agreement for the promotion of small and medium enterprises, trade and investment in coordination with the Embassy of Nepal in Sri Lanka.

Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka Ncc Chairman Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal and SLCSM I President Rohan D Shilva signed the agreement in the presence of Purna Bahadur Nepali.

According to a statement issued by the Chamber, the two organizations have signed an agreement on promotion of small and medium enterprises, bilateral trade and investment opportunities and trade facilitation between the private sector of Nepal and Sri Lanka.

An agreement has been signed to collaborate with small and medium enterprises in each other’s country’s practices, policy arrangements, capacity building programs, training and workshop seminars.

Similarly, chamber representatives of the two countries will also cooperate on issues such as bilateral meetings and bilateral investment in small and medium enterprises.

According to the agreement, Nepal Chamber of Commerce NCC and SLCSMI will coordinate to promote the exhibition and trade of goods produced by small and medium enterprises in each other’s countries.

According to the Chamber, joint research and research will be conducted regarding bilateral trade facilitation, technology transfer and possibilities of small and medium enterprises. According to a statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, a strategic partnership agreement has been signed to promote small and medium enterprises, especially in Nepal and Sri Lanka.
